I Spy #47

Each week Lysha at A Camera and a Cookbook shares a set of prompts for photos. On Saturday she invites participants to share their photos in the I Spy 2021 linkup. I had trouble with this set of prompts, but more because I was kept busy and didn't take photos than because the prompts themselves were difficult. 

- festivities - Hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving!

- food - Usually I take at least one obligatory photo of the entire Thanksgiving feast, and I get our traditional family photo as we're gathered around the table (kind of a long story behind that, for another time), but I didn't take any photos this year! This one features some of the breads and desserts we had to finish up after the big day.

- free - I had some trouble with this one, but I thought this photo of my granddaughter running around in my son's living room captured a bit of the joy of being free. She has so much energy!

- fortune - I had an even harder time coming up with an idea for this one! I finally went back a couple weeks and chose a rainbow photo from Niagara Falls. The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow would be a fortune, wouldn't it? You'd need very good fortune indeed to get the pot of gold from below the waterfall!

- your choice - Our granddaughter adores animals, and wanted so badly to love on our kitties. Unfortunately, our cats - especially this one, Merida - were terrified by the dog and rarely came out of their hiding places over the past several days. One day, my son and I were able to get Merida calmed down enough for Vee to spend some time petting and hugging her. 

iSpy 2021 is hosted by Lysha at A Camera and a Cookbook. The idea is to challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone and do something different with your photos. Anyone can participate by taking five new photos during the week that fit the prompts. Link up during the week and have fun!
