January Photo Album

January has lasted a long time this year. I'm ready to move on!

We celebrated a second round of Christmas on New Year's Eve, when we all gathered in Columbus. So New Year's Day was still very Christmas-y!

Such a treat to be with the whole family, and especially with our granddaughter for a few days!

Not in time for a white Christmas here in Maryland, but we finally got some snow that stuck.

I surprised myself by taking a selfie I liked.

Kitty was not that impressed though.

We had a couple of snow days at the co-ops, but managed to stay on track. This is one of my classrooms, before the students came in.

Progress on getting the basement set up as usable space again! We just moved a desk down to the room that will be sort of a home office, and I need to finish organizing that room.

The other room is looking much more put together and cheerful too.

Had to get it organized so we could get at the woodstove and heat the house, after all!

Kennady was back to classes as of mid-January. She's taking a Conducting class this semester and was super excited to show us her first baton.

The woodpecker has been a faithful visitor to my feeders, and maybe someday I'll get a good photo of him. There's plenty of bird activity around the feeders these days. I wasn't able to get a photo, but one day a red-tailed hawk stopped at the birdbath!
