28 Days of Coping With Change

In just a few days, the 2022 Write 28 Days Blogging Challenge will launch. This is a challenge to be disciplined about writing and posting, and it's also a community of bloggers. I've participated in Write 28 Days once before and although I wasn't able to write something for every single day, it was a positive experience.

This time around I've decided to choose a theme for my 28 day series. I don't know how well it will work, but the theme of living well and with purpose during times of change has been on my mind for a few years. As I neared the end of my years as a homeschool mom, I realized my world would change when my youngest graduated. My roles in the homeschool community and in my social circles were affected. Things changed in the workplace. Things are ever changing at church. And as my children grew up and the nest has begun to empty, family dynamics are changing. And then to top it all off, my husband's job ended at the very beginning of 2022, and obviously that has opened the possibilities of even more changes!

Writing about coping with change is not the same as having all the answers. I'll do my best to share what I'm learning and experiencing, and I'd love to hear from others in the comments.

One other note - while I do plan on writing every day, I may find it necessary to combine daily prompts or to juggle the writing schedule a little bit. That means there may not be 28 separate posts in the series.

May you continue to experience God's grace in the midst of all the changes, Kym. Agreeing with you in prayer for your husband to find new employment.
