May Photo Album

If I remember correctly, my April photo summary included several photos of the birds that had been frequent visitors to my feeders this spring. So I'll start off the May photo album with the hummingbird feeder that greeted the arrival of these tiny birds early in the month.

We've been slowly getting the yard and front porch ready to enjoy the summer months. I love the gorgeous sunsets we get to see.

We had foggy mornings, rainy and windy days, and thankfully a lot of days with clear blue skies too.

The focus was on wrapping up the school year. Kennady finished all her finals with flying colors, sang with the university choir for commencement and other occasions, and turned in some amazing performances at the department recital. Here she is with her boyfriend after recital.

My co-op classes wrapped up as well, and I was blessed with some lovely cards and gifts from my students.

 Just this past Friday, we attended the homeschool group's commencement exercises, where Kennady's boyfriend was the emcee and a couple of my former students graduated.

I started working a couple days at week at the same nursery where my husband is working. Good timing, and a great place to work!

 I treated myself to new clothes and shoes. I don't enjoy shopping all that much, so I purchased everything I wanted and thought I needed in one marathon trip.

Speaking of marathons, I finally finished my latest Conqueror Challenge virtual hike - the Cabot Trail.

I convinced the hubster to take me to a concert of my choice in exchange for my going along to a couple of concerts he was interested in earlier this year. I picked the Glenn Miller Orchestra and it was so good!
