One word. Five minutes to write about it. This is the idea behind Five Minute Friday and this is today's free-writing post.
better together
together forever
all together now!
birds of a feather flock together

Together is for parties and group activities, for Christmas and Thanksgiving. Together is for dating and for weddings and for family. Together is for special occasions and for family nights and for Sunday dinners. Together is how we celebrate and bond.
Together is also for support and help during times of crisis, for sharing resources with those in need, and for praying for each other. Together is for holding the one who is grieving and sharing the loss. Together is how we face challenges and draw strength from each other.
How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity!
~Psalm 133:1~
Meetings and committees are notorious for lots of talk and little action, but almost every big endeavor turns out better when people work together for a common goal. The key is focusing on that shared goal, and sharing the responsibility for reaching it.
We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools. ~Martin Luther King, Jr.
When we do life together with our family and friends, we all have something to contribute and something to learn. We are not meant to do life alone. God has been clear about this right from the start - it wasn't good for the man to be alone. God created us for community and relationship. We need to live in harmony with each other in our families, in our churches, and in our communities. And the church needs to be leading the way.
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. ~Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

I LOVE this post! Your writing is glorious and God ordained! Thank you for sharing this version of TOGETHER! It made me smile! I totally agree. Glad to be your neighbor on FMF this week, and I'm now following your blog. Cheers from my tea cup to your coffee cup! Jennifer Cook
You've got to learn to be together
in the days when you are young;
door's not open 'till forever
that will let you walk among
your fam'ly and community
as member paid in full
with proof of your immunity
against the solitary pull
that would set your orbit
so very far away
from the human polysorbate
that will help you stay
in solution with the rest
of your world to be your best.
Polysorbate's an emulsifier that keeps liquid meds and cosmetics in solution.
i love the pics, they show the togetherness of your family so well! :)
Kim, I Love this. This is a very concise post about togetherness. I'm blessed that you shared photos of your family together.
