Beauty Captured: Days 230-235

Landon and a couple of friends kidding around before CAP.

Unfortunately, they don't show up in this photo, but we saw a HUGE flock of Canada geese fly over our house on Thursday. By the time Kennady had called me, we couldn't see them from the back deck any more, so we ran out to the front porch, and by the time we got there, the geese were too far away to show up in a picture. Oh well.

First day of spring, and right on cue, here are the daffodils. Coming up in the junky little area beside the kitchen door that hasn't been 'spring cleaned' yet.

If you'd seen what Kennady's room looked like before she started cleaning and de-junkifying this week, you would agree with me that This.Is.Beautiful.

She was cleaning up for two main reasons - she had a friend come over on Saturday for the night; and we are ready to start redecorating her room. I went ahead and got her the new comforter she'd picked out. When we paint, we'll  probably do a bright green like the back of the comforter.

Beauty Captured is a daily link-up hosted at The Pebble Pond. The goal is to find beauty in our everyday lives, and to share a picture each day for a year. I plan on sharing my pictures once a week, but hope to remember to take a picture every day!
