I didn't think I'd taken all that many pictures during our vacation, but going through them to pick some to share I realize I did take a lot! And it's not like they are really high quality photos either. Anyway, I thought maybe all the Disney pictures in one blog post at first, but no. We went to the Magic Kingdom on our first day so I'll start with that.
One of our favorite rides is still Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin! The last time we visited Disney, Kennady was just a little tyke. She was too short for a few of the bigger rides, and although she could ride on this one, she couldn't work the controls. So she was pretty excited to be able to shoot the laser guns on this trip through a Buzz Lightyear video game!

We took advantage of some rides under cover during the couple of brief downpours.

We will never get tired of the Mad Tea Party!

We still love the Pirates of the Caribbean ride too.
We had a long wait to get into the Haunted Mansion, but turns out there's plenty to keep you entertained on your way through the queue. Our favorite was the ghostly pipe organ.
Couple more flashback photos! On our 2006 visit, Kennady wore a Tinkerbell costume to the Magic Kingdom, and on his way past us in the parade, Peter Pan called out to her, "Tink! We've been looking everywhere for you!"

The fireworks and light show at the Magic Kingdom is truly impressive. The pictures don't begin to do it justice. During the show, which is a tribute to Disney heroes and heroines, the castle is transformed to represent the movies being represented in the music. There is a segment of the show that portrays the villains with music and lights as well.
And once it was all over, we had to do one more obligatory "Kennady in front of Cinderella's castle" photo.
She didn't fall asleep on the way back to our car this time, but we were all about this tired!

Love this, especially the throwbacks! Makes me want to go back ❤️
Love the throwback photos! We really enjoyed the projections onto the castle too even though my younger two chose to stay at the hotel with their grandmother..
I love seeing all these photos! Our teen went last year with his aunt & uncle. So great to see the different photos from the past.
Looks like fun! We are looking forward to going as a family in about a year. My older two have been once but we want to take the two younger ones!
