Welcome to the Virtual Refrigerator art link-up! Thank you for joining us as we share what we're creating in our homeschools. We cordially invite you to add your link sharing artwork that's on your Virtual Refrigerator and then hop over to the other blogs and admire what's on their Fridges too! The Virtual Fridge link-up is open all month.
My student doesn't do artwork every week, so I probably won't have something new on my Virtual Fridge every Wednesday, but I will have a link-up post for participants each week.

This is the poster Kennady did as part of a history class assignment. The unit focused on the time period following the War Between the States, and the students were asked to do artwork or other presentations urging unity and reconciliation.
I've tried to offer some simple artwork assignments as alternatives to essays in the History class, especially during weeks when there has been a lot of reading, and also because the other students are younger and don't have a lot of experience yet in writing opinion or informative essays. These are the previous art pieces Kennady has done for the class.
This assignment was to design a book cover for one of the classic novels featured in an American Literature focus lesson.
Virtual Refrigerator - Moby Dick
And during the units on the Constitution and Bill of Rights, I gave an assignment to create a piece of artwork showing one of the Amendments (Bill of Rights) in action.
Virtual Refrigerator - Amendment XIX
