I Spy #44

Each week Lysha at A Camera and a Cookbook shares a set of prompts for photos. On Saturday she invites participants to share their photos in the I Spy 2021 linkup. I'm later than I'd like again this week. We got back from vacation on Saturday evening and I've been trying to get back into the groove, and this was one of the things I left until late Sunday.

- vintage - this made me think of antique and classic things, but also of wine. I decided on a photo of some bottles of wine in my dining room.

- seasonal - This historic church in Niagara Falls, New York, seemed almost lonely on Saturday morning when we walked past, but the colorful fall wreath on the door made me wonder whether it would be full of worshipers on Sunday morning. I liked the contrast between the cool toned brick and stone and the warmth of the wood and flowers.

- zigzag - I loved the colorful lights on the Seneca Casino across from our hotel. The pattern represents trees, I'm pretty sure, but it's definitely a sort of zigzag.

- collect - I collect coffee mugs. My husband says I have too many, but I don't listen to that kind of negativity. 😏

- your choice - I couldn't decide so I've got two. One from the beginning of the week when we were in western Georgia and took a long walk around a cotton field. One from the end of the week when we were in Niagara Falls and had one sunny morning to get photos of the falls themselves.

iSpy 2021 is hosted by Lysha at A Camera and a Cookbook. The idea is to challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone and do something different with your photos. Anyone can participate by taking five new photos during the week that fit the prompts. Link up during the week and have fun!

I agree on the "you can never have too many mugs" philosophy! I love the photo of that church. It's striking.

What a lovely wreath on the door and don't listen to him, you collect as many as coffee mugs as you want! The cotton field looks like it's just snowed - beautiful. CarolG
