I am extremely late posting today, because I am having a Murphy's Law kinda day. I hope I don't have too many days like this one in a row, because it's very frustrating. Anyway, this week we had our first day of school, and in keeping with our past tradition of first day pictures with each kid holding a little poster showing their grade, Kennady made her own poster this time.

And then we thought it would be fun to get a picture of her holding it while sitting in the same spot on the sofa that several of her first day pictures were taken in years past. Except that she had the giggles. And she wasn't sure her hair was right.

Okay, now she's ready. And since I'm having computer issues and it's so late already, I'm posting it without any edits! (I'll probably replace it later with the brightened up version.)

I tried to get my kids to do the sign thing. Didn't work. Love your daughter's sign. We are taking a break from art right now. I am sure we will resume middle of the year or next (or whenever the Crew has something again :)
Love it! We do the first day of school signs every year. They, too, design their own. Makes it so much more personal and fun. - Lori
I've never done this, and I know my lad would balk at it. unless of course, he was with a bunch of other students doing it. :)
