Carousel Horse on the Virtual Refrigerator - share your art posts on our Virtual Refrigerator - an art link-up hosted by Homeschool Coffee Break @ kympossibleblog.blogspot.com

Welcome to the Virtual Refrigerator art link-up! Thank you for joining us as we share what we're creating in our homeschools. We cordially invite you to add your link sharing artwork that's on your Virtual Refrigerator and then hop over to the other blogs and admire what's on their Fridges too! The Virtual Fridge link-up is open all month.

It's a new month and I'm actually relieved that I have new art to share! Once again this year, Kennady has been tasked with creating some of the backdrop artwork to decorate for Vacation Bible School. And while VBS may be a couple of months away, we know how quickly the time can go, especially when Kennady has so much going on between now and then. She had a little available time this week and decided to get started on the art. The theme is an amusement park, so she's working on creating carousel horses. Here's the first one just about finished:

It's kind of hard to get an idea of the size, but her reference picture is on the paper in the lower left corner and that's a standard 8.5x11" paper.

More to come!

My student doesn't do artwork every week, so I probably won't have something new on my Virtual Fridge every Wednesday, but I will have a link-up post for participants each week.

That's awesome! I remember painting scenery for our school play and I just loved working in large scale like that.
