Write 28 Days Blogging Challenge - Disappointed

I'm disappointed that I didn't get started on this sooner.

That's actually a familiar refrain for me! But in this case, it's also the prompt for the first day of the Write 28 Days Blogging Challenge. And it started almost a week ago, which is why I'm disappointed. It's been in the back of my mind that I should watch for a writing challenge or Instagram challenge to participate in. Just for some ideas. I thought I'd likely stumble across something suitable eventually - something with prompts or ideas, but not so strict that I felt I couldn't keep up. Well, here it is, and I did not notice it in time to feel prepared, because it started on the first of the month, and here I am about a week in.

All that said, I'm still participating. Why? Because it's very much what I thought I wanted, and because it's okay with the hostess that I'm late to the party. I believe in grace, and in second chances, and welcoming the latecomers whenever possible. And I don't want to beat myself up every time I'm disappointed in myself or when things don't turn out perfectly; but I also don't want to give up and not try just because I'm not perfect.

I won't stay disappointed. I'll move on.

As I write, I'll add my Write 28 Days links here as I go!

Yes!! Better to start where you are, even if its a bit late. I think I'll take a page from your book and skip ahead to the "proper" day and take on the early ones to the end.
